Hitty HGB and the Egrets
| Hello Hittygirls! Wow! I have been having major fun here in No. California with the Sassone family of humans, Hittys and other friendly small dolls. After my arrival a week ago I took a couple days rest as I was tired from my trip here. I found out however that these folks go on a nature walk EVERY day and finally on my 3rd day here I got to join them. We saw many wonderful things.. First we saw two kitties that live near a trail and the Mum here says they truly can't be called Feral because they let you pick them up and pet them. We fed them and they thanked me by licking my face! Then we saw Mallard ducks and Canadian geese in the canal. They were very LOUD! When we got to the turnaround point in this adventure we were on a high hill overlooking a water reservoir and there were Mallards again everywhere. Just about when we were going to leave a beautiful white Heron flew in and landed down the slope from us and proceeded to look for his breakfast I think. I'm enclosing a picture here and if you look carefully down on the right of me, you'll see the Heron! Hitty Bina & Hitty Lu Frances say "hi" to everyone and they told me that next on our agenda is a "Wildflower Walk!" I can't wait! Hitty Gertrude Bell on the road in California! |

Uncle Guido has been teaching Hitty Bina how to cook simple things. Hitty
GB helped with the chopping of the vegetables.

he gives good hugs!
Hugs Good-bye
Hitty GB and Hitty Bina hug and bid a reluctant and tearful good-bye to each
other. They hope to see one another again in the future.
