Let me know which size nighty you want to receive: larger or smaller.

1. Make a Night Gown from the provided free pattern OR use one of your own. It should be Holiday-themed. There is a nighty and night-cap pattern provided below, but feel free to use any pattern you want to use.
2. Send it to your swap person.
3. You will receive the name and address of your swap person when the sign-ups are finished.
4. Send a picture of your Hitty's nightie to the hittygirls list, so we can post it on this page.
All Swaps must be sent in the mail by/on the 15th of December. You may begin sewing any time, to be ready.

To Line: Right sides together, sew up the back, around the neck, and back down the back. Turn right side out, and press.

Gather at rounded edge. Ease and pin into bodice sleeve. Pin, and sew. Add trim to sleeves before you sew the under arm seam. Once the trim is added, sew the under arm seam.

SKIRT

Take a 4" x 10" rectangle of fabric. Gather it along the top edge. Fit this skirt to the bodice, pin a lot, and sew. Put the nighty on your Hitty, and judge the best place for length. Hem to that length. Add trim to the nighty now, or wait until you have sewn the back seam.

Sew the back seam up the skirt, leaving the back of the bodice open for easy on-easy off dressing. Either use a pin or a button to fasten shut.

You can add any beads, trim, lace, etc. that you like.

Put the circles right sides together. Sew around the outside edge, leaving open between dots. Turn right side out and use a stuffing tool or similar object to put the circle out. Press. With thread or ribbon, sew in bigger stitches around the dotted line. Pull and tie to adjust fit.
