Join Hitty in one of the " Rites of Spring", Spring cleaning! Now that good weather has finally arrived, she can fling open the doors and windows and clean! Hitty can wash the linens and hang them out to dry, beat the rugs, sweep down the cobwebs, wash the windows, sweep out the fireplace and bake a cake to celebrate the arrival of Spring. New cleaning tools, supplies and, maybe, a new apron, will give her a helping hand as she tackles her projects.
The Spring Cleaning Swap may include anything you think will help Hitty
with the job. For instance, to wash the windows, she could use a squirty
bottle, a few old towels (or, better, some old newspapers!) and a ladder.
A rug beater (or vacuum cleaner, for the more modern-minded Hitty),
mop, bucket, feather duster, laundry basket, washtub, laundry soap,
clothespins, mending basket, ironing board, iron, and the infamous new
broom are some of the items she could use. Use your own experience to
send her what she needs!
As much a part of the swap as sending your package is thanking your
swap partner and posting a picture or two so we can all enjoy the exchange.
