This swap is going to be an outrageous collaboration of Hitty artists of all skill levels!  Here's the deal...all the information you need is here, so read carefully before signing up:

After signing up, all participants will receive a basswood shoulderhead blank, courtesy of Sara Cole.  (Thank you, Sara!)  All participants are to carve a shoulderhead in Traditional Hitty Style  (curls, etc.)   After carving the shoulderhead, participants will mail their unpainted shoulderhead to their swap partner.  Swap partners will then create a body and PAINT the FACE.   Every participant will carve a shoulderhead, every participant will then receive a carved shoulderhead from another participant.  We ask that all participants commit to completing a body for the shoulderheads.

Bodies can be either wood, cloth, fimo or ???  The choice is up to you.  For those who might want to sew bodies, Sara Cole has a pattern up for a fabric body (and clothes) at Practical Hitty:
