Winter Is Coming



Deadline to receive fabric here: October 18, 2019
Any fabrics arriving after that date can be held over or returned, your choice.
Does it sound too early for a Winter swap?  We think that by the time you get your 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" squares back, 
Hittys all over the world are going to be ready for a lovely Winter Snuggle under her new quilt!

In this swap, you will cut a 9" x 12" piece of fabric from 4 different Winter Themed fabrics(Total to send: 4 pieces).  Winter can be interpreted as icy blues, stark pine greens, white on white--or whatever strikes you as a winter fabric.  

Please, no Christmas or Holiday fabrics, as this is a Winter Swap.

If you choose to send them in a regular envelope, you will need to put tape around the envelope both ways. They rip very easily in the USPS machines. No return postage needed.

Send them to me at the address above and I will cut them into 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"  squares with my Cricut, swap them out, and send a lovely fabric medly to you.   When you get your squares, make some quilts,and show us your results!   Have fun with this--Hitty will!

These fabrics should be 100% cotton, and not too thin or prone to fray terribly.
Please do not use coarse, stiff, or large-weave fabrics. Do not send silks, rayon, suede, corduroy, or other unsuitable fabrics. You may include solids, if desired.

DO NOT RIP OR TEAR YOUR FABRICS AT ALL.
All pieces must be cut with scissors or rotary cutter. If you are not able to cut accurately, no worries, just send me a slightly larger width and I will cut them for you.
