The book "Making Doll's House Miniatures
with Polymer Clay" by Sue Heaser is the most wonderful instruction
book I have ever seen. She tells how to make just about everything
imaginable out of Fimo-type clay, including small dolls (Hitty travel
dolls). Not only does she tell how to make food, but also the pans,
bowls, canisters, utensils and plates for the kitchen; bathrooms,
including the tub, sink and toilet; furniture, tiffany lamps, plants,
even tiles for walls or floors. Instructions are very clear and precise
("make a ball of clay 10mm in diameter to start") and it
is fully illustrated in color. So far I have made some of her food
and small dolls, and I am quite pleased with the results.------Ann
