  • A simple summer frock made by the Hittys during their 'craft time'

  • Other simple crafts that can be used at craft time, ie. necklaces, bracelets, beaded toys, drawings, etc.

  • In Maine we give a Maine State Quarter along with a printed copy of the origin of the quarter, why that design was used (this you can print off of the internet).

  • Postcards and/or brochures, maps of the places you visited.

  • Nature items found by the Hittys while on nature hikes, pressed flowers, shells, beach pebbles with notation of what the items are or where they were found.

  • Inexpensive items purchased from museums or gift shops, our Hittys like to purchase Native American leather bead bracelets (similar to friendship bracelets) at one of the museum shops we visit, the Hittys then wear these bracelets as belts.

  • Hats, crocheted, knitted or purchased straw hats that have been nicely decorated.

  • A CD of all of the pictures taken on the trip.

  • Macaroni necklace or macaroni art.

  • Hitty-scaled newspaper made into a pirate's hat.
